She is me, I am her; I am her, She is me.

“She’s tough.”

I’ve heard that line before.

“She’s strong.”

They don’t know she breaks down, behind her closed door.

“She’s brave.”

But if only they really knew.

“She’s unstoppable.”

They don’t see the hell she’s been through.

“She’s wild.”

They don’t see the other side.

“She’s the life of the party.”

She can’t tell them of all the tears she’s cried.

“She’s so organized“

She wishes they could see the thousands of thoughts running through her head.

“She’s such a planner.”

Do they know some days she’s hanging on by a thread?

“She’s there for everyone.”

Do they know her fear of being abandoned?

“She loves with her entire heart & soul.”

Her world never quite goes how she’s planned it.

“She’s resilient.”

Do they know she was once nothing more than a door mat?

“She’s come so far in this life.”

And regardless of it all she is endlessly thankful for that.

She is me, I am her.

Even on the days I don’t want to be. . .

I am her & she is me

But I am truly only human, can’t you see?

Desiree Angelica Young

It’s been a rough go the last few weeks/months. . I am okay & will be okay, always.

Some times life is just hard for a million different reasons but that doesn’t mean I am not thankful for a millions different reasons it just means I need to find my way through this and let myself feel, be and exist in my own mind, pain and feelings.

I’ll be back to my normal ramblings soon enough. ♥️
