Appointment number six with my primary care doctor. This is the final appointment before I can see my surgeon and begin the insurance approval for the gastric sleeve surgery.
What an incredibly long and at the same time fast journey. I can’t believe I started this journey a little over six months ago. The journey to get a life changing surgery and a tool to help me become the person I’ve always known was inside of me. I can not wait to discover that person again.
Today’s appointment was wonderful and I feel so confident and prepared for the next step in this journey. I can not thank my PCP enough for being so amazingly supportive and kind through this and I can’t wait to see her again after this!
