Waiting Rooms- it seems I spend so much of my time in waiting rooms now. I’m waiting for my monthly appointment this morning. This marks month five of my life changing journey. I feel good about it.
I’ve been very focused this month on teaching myself to sip drinks, eat my protein first and not drink with meals since those will all be things I need to do after surgery, why not start now?
This last month will be a challenge. My last appointment will be the day before my wedding. With so much to focus on it will be a challenge to stayed focused and on track, but I have to. And I will!! One more month and I will be able to see the surgeon and fingers crossed I can schedule surgery and my life can forever be changed.
I have to say that through all of this I am so blessed and lucky to have my primary care provider that I do. She is amazing. Always so kind and understanding. She never judges for a bad day or month. She listens to everything I have to say and is so attentive and truly willing to help me on this journey. She is an angel and I’m so glad to have found a plan that allowed me to stay with her while I went through this.
Today is a good day and one day closer to having life changing surgery to better my health and future.
Here we go. . One more PCP visit and then I see my surgeon!
